IEA Dressage Team Clinic with Lisa Eagley-DesRosiers

Misty Run will be hosting a clinic with former IHSA coach and dressage judge Lisa Eagley-DesRosiers, Sunday September 4th for all IEA team members.

A little bit about Lisa:

Lisa Eagley-DesRosiers had been riding for 50+ years, she grew up as a 4h kid riding in many disciplines and participating in many educational activities. Lisa’s passion for dressage started at 10 when her parents took her to see the Lipizzaner stallions performance. She sought out every opportunity to learn about it after that. In 2002 Lisa purchased a large equestrian facility where she ran a boarding, training and lesson business. During that time she also coached the Seattle University Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association team for 2 years. Lisa continued her Dressage education and earned her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medals. She then enrolled in the USDF L education program and graduated with distinction. Lisa now has a small farm in Millwood, VA where she breeds and raises quality warm blood horses as well as trains, teaches and judges.

We strongly encourage all student and adult IEA riders to attend this clinic for an opportunity to get feedback from a former IHSA (college level IEA) dressage coach and judge. Each rider will receive a 30 minute group equitation flat class simulation lesson as well as a 15 minute private lesson to work on their dressage tests or equitation seat. We ask that all attending please plan to spend the day at the farm and to bring a lunch as well as anything else needed for the day. Ride times will be sent out via email prior to the event.
