Summer Camp 2024
Join us this summer for a week of new friends, games, crafts and horsey fun! This year Misty Run is hosting a variety of summer camps sure to please any young horse lover. Whether your horse lover is new to horses or is an experienced rider, we have a summer camp perfect for them. Check out our list of summer camps below for more information and to register. Jump into Summer!
Jumping Camp
May 20th - May 24 9 AM to 3 PM
Hone your skills over fences with this 5 day intensive jumping camp. Just in time for show season. Course work, seat and control development, cavaletties, and more all designed to improve success and confidence on course. Riders must be able to walk and trot confidently and be ready to canter. Ages 8 and up adults welcome!
Pee Wee Pony Summer Camp
June 3rd - June 7th 9AM to 1PM
Join us for a 4-day summer camp perfect for those pee wee horse lovers in your life. In this camp your young rider will participate in activities including crafts, games, water play, horsemanship and a daily riding lesson. Participants must plan to bring plenty of water, a lunch with extra snacks, riding clothes, a change of clothing and swim attire. This camp is for kids ages 5-7.
Summer Fun Camp
June 10th - June 14 9AM to 3PM
Join us for a fun week of horses, crafts, friends and more horses. The perfect summer camp for kids of all riding levels. In this camp your young rider will participate in activities including crafts, games, water play, horsemanship and a daily riding lesson. Participants must plan to bring plenty of water, a lunch with extra snacks, riding clothes, a change of clothing and swim attire. Ages 8-14.
Explorers Trail Camp
July 08 - July 12 9 AM-3PM
Each day we will travel to a new trail location around the area. The trails will be in the easy to easy moderate in skill level. Riders must be able to at minimum walk trot and control their horse well on their own to participate. Trails will be between 1-2 hours long each day. Campers will learn trail safety for both horse and rider, caring for your horse on and off the trail, and ground work problem solving. Ages 10 and up adults welcome.
